- QWhat is the origin of UBIC's company name and meaning of the logo?
Our company name originated as an acronym for "Ultimate Business Intelligence Company," a name associated with our corporate objective. Business intelligence refers to a set of technologies used for gathering, analyzing and sorting large volumes of raw data into information that is useful for making business decisions. In accord with our aims of becoming the leader in the field of information analysis, the company name has recently changed to "Ultimate Behavior Informatics Company" to highlight our endeavors of becoming the greatest intelligence company.
The logo is based on the alphabet U. The small dot in the center of the circle represents Earth and the object in the upper right represents the Sun casting its light over our planet. The logo reflects UBIC's hope in becoming the source of support companies need to thrive in a harsh global market, just as the Sun supports life on Earth by providing light in a void and dark universe.
